On June 12, the Basic Medical Sciences Degree Program of Ningbo University Health Science Center held a postgraduate recruitment seminar at Zhejiang Wanli University’s School of Biological and Environmental Sciences. This marked the first time the program organized a recruitment event at a higher education institution in Ningbo.
The seminar was delivered by Cui Wei and Liu Hao, both master’s supervisors in Basic Medical Sciences. During the event, the two faculty members introduced undergraduate students from Zhejiang Wanli University’s School of Biological and Environmental Sciences to the overview of Ningbo University Health Science Center, admission requirements for the Basic Medical Sciences postgraduate program, and career prospects for graduates. Using the outstanding research and mentorship teams at the Health Science Center’s School of Basic Medical Sciences as examples, they highlighted the program’s faculty strengths, research advantages, superior academic and living conditions for current students, abundant opportunities for international exchanges, comprehensive introductory training systems, multifaceted platforms for academic display, and distinctive extracurricular activities. The speakers also engaged in lively interactions with attendees, addressing inquiries about discipline codes for adjustment admissions, cross-disciplinary application requirements for first-choice volunteers, and other topics of interest.
The Basic Medical Sciences program of Ningbo University Health Science Center stated that it will continue to organize postgraduate recruitment seminars in the future, aiming to attract more students passionate about basic medical research and aspiring to become "medical professionals," thereby injecting high-quality talent into the field of basic medical sciences.
