Speaker Profile: Feng Shangyuan

Feng Shangyuan, Professor/Doctoral Supervisor, serves as Deputy Director of Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Photonics Technology, Committee Member of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Photonics, High-level Talent of Fujian Province, and New Century Excellent Talent of Fujian Higher Education Institutions. He completed his postdoctoral research at the British Columbia Cancer Research Center, Canada. With a long-term focus on biomedical optics research, he has published over 100 papers in international core journals and holds 11 authorized invention patents. In the past five years, he has led multiple projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China General Program, Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Department Key Projects, and Fuzhou City’s "Revealing Benchmarks and Leading Roles" Major Projects. His research achievements have been honored with 2 First Prizes and 2 Second Prizes of the Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, as well as the Fuzhou Provincial Youth Science and Technology Award.
