On the afternoon of June 12, a signing ceremony for party-building collaboration between the Party Committee of Ningbo University Health Science Center and the Party Branch of Gulin Township Health Center in Haishu District was held at the Gulin Township Health Center. Over 80 party members from both sides attended the event, including Chai Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Haishu District Health Bureau; Yuan Xiaofang, Deputy Mayor of Gulin Township; Liu Wenhu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Haishu District Health Bureau; Zhang Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ningbo University Health Science Center; and Xu Bo, Secretary of the Party Branch of Gulin Township Health Center.
During the ceremony, Zhang Wei, on behalf of the Student Party Branch of the Health Science Center, signed a cooperation agreement with Gulin Township Health Center, covering areas such as "joint theoretical studies, resource sharing, co-organized activities, and collaborative talent cultivation." A symposium was also held to discuss future collaboration.
Chai Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Haishu District Health Bureau, emphasized, "Party-building collaboration is the 'golden key,' and school-local linkage is the 'driving force.'" Since the establishment of Ningbo University Health Science Center’s Preventive Medicine Practical Training Base in Gulin in 2024, the two sides have collaborated on epidemiological research and other fields. These practices have not only validated the feasibility of school-local cooperation but also demonstrated the synergistic effect of party-building collaboration, achieving "1+1＞2" results.
Following the ceremony, party members from both sides visited the Ningbo Family Tradition Museum’s Red Education Base for a joint party activity themed "Inheriting Integrity in Medical Practice, Cultivating Patriotism." In the next phase, the Student Party Branch of the Health Science Center will launch multi-faceted practical collaborations with Gulin Township Health Center in batches, continuing to write a new chapter in the cultivation of medical talents for the new era at Ningbo University.
